Abstract
A detailed approach to liver-spleen computed tomography in the pediatric patient is presented, including sections on indications, patient preparation, sedation, technique of scanning, radiation dosimetry, and potential pitfalls encountered in scanning. The advantages of dynamic scanning with table incrementation are stressed.
