Abstract

Introduction: For patients with colorectal cancer liver metastasis, hepatectomy is the only treatment modality for curative intent. Unresectable hepatic metastatic conditions, such as disease extent, poor anatomical location, or comorbidities, were thought to result in inferior prognosis. This study is to evaluate the perioperative and oncological outcomes of combined hepatectomy and radiofrequency ablation (hepatectomy-RFA) of technically unresectable patients with colorectal liver metastases.
