Abstract

Sable farming is a promising new branch of fur farming in Yakutia. Since the end of 2019, LTD "Fur farm Pokrovskoe" has been receiving caged sables from the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan. Natural and climatic conditions of our Republic significantly differ from other regions of Russia, indeed, there are also differences in feed base of fur farms. The original goal is to preserve imported sables for further reproduction. The article analyzes the influence of adaptogens on the livability of caged sables. The following bioactive substances were used: eleutherococcus - 0.1mg and pine buds at 0.16g per head 1 time per day during December 2020. In November 2021, the livability by groups was as follows: in control groups - 36.67-56.67%; in the experimental group, treated with eleutherococcus - 56.67%; treated with pine buds - 73.33%. Livability in groups which was treated with adaptogens was 16.66-20%, which is higher than in control groups. Sables` body condition in the test group, which was treated with pine buds, was higher than in the control group by 5.78-9.11%. The body condition of the animals of both groups increased from the summer period (June) to the winter period (November), which confirms the correctness of our feeding recommendations. Leukopenia and low lymphocyte content, found in June 2021 in the blood of animals of both groups, show the evidence of ongoing stress during the adaptation period to new climatic and feeding conditions. The content of lymphocytes in the blood of experimental group animals in October 2021 was within the lower limit of physiological norm and there was an increase in the content of erythrocytes, leukocyte and hemoglobin, indicating a positive effect of adaptogen. The results of the blood test indicate an ongoing process of adaptation of the sables, as well as an increase in the non-specific resistance of experimental sables under the influence of pine buds.
