Abstract

In 1983, Rubio de Francia proved a one-sided Littlewood–Paley-type Lp-inequality, 2 ≤ p < ∞, for arbitrary intervals. By a refinement of his methods, it is possible to prove an analogue of this inequality for “exponents beyond infinity,” i.e., for BMO and Holder classes.
