Abstract

Lithology of the well section is based on differences in the size and character of the curves of magnetic susceptibility, the magnetic field and the magnetization of rocks. The magnetic properties of the rocks are a reliable criterion for thin-lithological, heterogeneous cuts deep, and ultra-deep oil and gas wells, as well as for monitoring the geological documentation of well sections. The article discusses the problem of singularities of the magnetization of rocks for each well, and it was also their comparison, then what was the basis for use of these parameters for the geological interpretation of the observed, both internal and external magnetic field. Analysis of the results of the study undercut magnetite ore Middle Urals possible to distinguish four types of rocks with different types of magnetic mineralization on the complex features of the magnetic correlations. Interpretation of the results of the borehole magnetometry allows establish the existence of two types of magnetic mineralization pyrrhotite associated with zones of sulphide (pyrite) mineralization and magnetite (titanomagnetite), which was confirmed by the results of the paleomagnetic studies of core samples. Integration of borehole magnetometry method with the method of electrode potentials MEP for Muruntau SD-10 made it possible to distinguish from the common area of sulphide mineralization zones with monoclinic pyrrhotite and thus clarify the lithological inhomogeneous thin-layer section of the well.
