Abstract

A novel dodecylamine micelle-induced self-assembling method for constructing N-doped carbon combs from close-packed hollow submicron carbon spheres is reported by Kaiming Liao, Zongping Shao and co-workers in article number 1701659. The highly interconnected N-doped carbon comb can serve as a new type of sulfur host for lithium-sulfur batteries, delivering an outstanding performance. Cover illustrator: Yijun Zhong.
