Abstract

In article number 2100637, Vinayak P. Dravid, Jinsong Wu, and co-workers perform a systematic study of WS2 nanoflakes as the anode for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. It is found that compared to LIBs, SIBs exhibit a higher reversible sodium storage capacity and superior cyclability. The results show a direct correlation between the reaction dynamics of lithiated/sodiated WS2 nanoflakes and their electrochemical performance.
