Abstract

We report the preparation and properties of polymeric lithium ion conducting films based on poly(ethylene adipate) with lithium trifluoromethanesulfonate and blends of poly(ethylene adipate) and poly(vinyl acetate) with lithium triflouromethanesulfonate. The conductivity/temperature behaviour of these films was found to be very similar to those based on poly(ethylene oxide), with Arrhenius behaviour above the crystalline melting point and slight hysteresis below this temperature.
