Abstract

In article number 1804058, Xian-He Bu and co-workers prepare flexible FexOy/nitrogen-doped carbon (FexOy/NC-MOG) electrode by facile electrospinning of Fe-based metal–organic gels (MOGs) followed by high-temperature carbonization. The tiny FexOy active sites are dispersed in nitrogen-doped carbon substrates due to the homogeneous distribution of Fe-based MOGs in the polyacrylonitrile matrix. The special design of FexOy/NC-MOG guarantees its good electrochemical stability in lithium-ion batteries.
