Abstract
The study examines the bibliometric analysis of 61 papers published in IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine during the period 2013–2021. The data was derived from the journal archived volumes through one of the Institutional repositories of JNTUACEK i.e. J-gate Engineering & Technology journal database. The study aimed to know various bibliometric characteristics in IEEE JTEHM. The study finds that journal citations cited by researchers in IEEE THEM are scattered in 693 journals. Among them ‘IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging’ occupies first rank for being cited more number of times with 3.63% of citations, followed by ‘IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering’ (2.44%), ‘Journal of Medical Physics’ (1.75%). Table 3 depicts that IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging is the table topper with the highest number of 58 citations followed by IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering with 39 citations; Journal of Medical Physics with 28 citations; IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence with 23 citations; Circulation Journal and Journal of Applied Physiology with 22 citations each.
