Abstract
The Journal is always looking for ways to provide a better service for its readers and one of the new innovations that we shall be evaluating over the next year is to introduce a literature survey feature. This idea stems from the publishers John Wiley & Sons Limited, who have found this to be a very successful way of keeping readers informed of new developments in a subject on other journals. The literature survey has been produced by two senior researchers Dr Leonardo Giovanini and Dr Jonas Balderud. It provides details of significant papers that might be of value, chosen from a range of leading journals. It is, of course, a purely personal view of important papers and it does not claim to be comprehensive since not all journals are covered. However, it is an attempt to highlight useful publications in the areas covered by the journal. We hope this will become a regular feature and any feedback would be appreciated. You may contact the Managing Editor or Leo or Jonas directly. Finally, I would mention that the Board of the Journal is pleased to receive proposals for special issues or indeed other initiatives. The Journal Board meets twice per annum and it is pleased to receive inputs from readers. In fact, there is a formal special issue proposal submission procedure if this is of interest. Details may be obtained from the Managing Editor.
