Abstract

Differentiated learning is a teaching strategy that focuses on the individual learning needs of students. Differentiation includes a teaching approach that is responsive to students' needs in understanding the subject matter, taking into account their characteristics, abilities, interests, learning styles, and academic potential. The main goal of teachers in implementing differentiation is to meet the learning needs of each student, create an effective learning environment, guide the learning process, and conduct ongoing assessments based on academic development. There are four aspects of differentiation that teachers can arrange, namely content, learning process, final product, and classroom environment or learning climate. Teachers can categorize students' learning needs based on readiness to learn, interests, and academic profiles. By providing tasks that match students' skills and understanding, stimulating their curiosity or interests, and allowing them to work according to their individual preferences, differentiated learning can improve the quality of student learning.
