Abstract

This study is a review of the literature on the new generation of employees. The last generation that entered the labor market or is about to enter has a different profile from previous generations. This is due to the environment in which they have developed and aims at major changes in technology, communication, access to information, education, style of education etc. Thus, the study presents an analysis of current trends in the labor market, a brief overview of the theoretical framework on career, career expectations and conceptualization of the employability of millennials. In conclusion, instability is a defining feature of both the current labor market and millennials; ; at the same time, a combined effort of the various actors is urgently needed to facilitate their entry into the labor market.
