LITERARY ANALYSIS OF THE LYRICAL SONG “MONUMENT” BY TOLOGON MAMEEV

Abstract

This article is discussing a literary analysis of the lyrical song by Tologon Mameyev “Monument”. Although many songs dedicated to the poetry of war, a smaller number of them with music. The song from the period of war and still famous nowadays chosen here for analysis. The inner content of the song, author idea, structure of the song, and difficulties in war have been discussed. Poet was able to articulate the impact of the whole war catastrophe through the inner lyrical content. Literary text created from the thoughts of the poet, after the creation of the melody, became more audible, more influential, and more popular. A picture is representing the tragedy of the war with a lyrical retreat, remembering the soldiers who went to the front and did not return, evaluates patriotic citizens from different angles, and urges them to remember their memory forever. The writing years of song “Monument” by the famous poet and its influence, expressions in the text, artistic metaphors, typical images, stylistic features, and lyrical reflections are scientifically analyzed.
