Abstract

Liquid-phase catalytic hydrodechlorination of aromatic chloro derivatives by molecular hydrogen with metal nanopowders (Fe, Ni, and Pd) and metal-carbon systems based on them are studied. Systems on the base of palladium are shown to be the most active. They can be used for hydrodechlorination of chlorinated biphenyls and phenols. The use of metal-carbon systems is more preferable.
