Abstract

Lithium-ion battery is one of the most widely used secondary batteries, which bringing convenience to people. However, it has been found that the stability of lithium-ion batteries with Li 4 Ti 5 O 12 (LTO) as anode electrode is poor in alpine regions. Here, liquid metal (LM, Ga-Sn) with high capacity, self-healing property and good conductivity was doped into LTO to obtain a new anode material. When the ratio of LTO to LM is 8:1, the initial specific charge and discharge capacity can reach 210 mAh/g and 230 mAh/g at 100 mA/g, respectively. And the Coulombic efficiency can remain stable(>=98%) at 300 mA/g after 1000 cycles in alpine regions. It is a promising anode material for high-performance lithiumion batteries.
