Abstract
Analytical solutions are obtained for the liquid concentration profile along the length of an aerotank in the case of the oxygen-water system and for the mass transfer efficiency in the absorption of oxygen by water to calculate the mass transfer kinetics and sizes of an aerotank and to determine its optimal operating modes.
