Abstract

A case of a large lipoma of the lower lip has been presented. This neoplasm started to grow two days after the patient bit his lower lip. The tumor slowly increased in size until, after a period of five years, the patient finally sought treatment because it interfered with his ability to chew. The tumor was excised surgically, and when the patient was seen two years later there were no signs of recurrence.
