Abstract

Saliva of heavy calculus formers was found to contain about 50 per cent more lipids than that of light calculus formers and exhibited elevated level of glyceroglucolipids, cholesterol esters and free fatty acids. The level of cholesterol and triglycerides was higher in the light calculus formers.
