Liouville theory of the density response function for normal quantum fluids: II. Binary expansion

Abstract

This is the second of two papers in which an exact expression for the density response function of a quantum fluid is obtained both in terms of a Liouville perturbation and in terms of a Liouville binary expansion. In this paper, a Liouville binary expansion of the density response function is introduced and a generating function is used to obtain an expression for the response function in terms of a “linked cluster” expansion. All quantities in the expression for the response function are defined in terms of exact two-body wave functions.
