Abstract
The automatic analysis of French texts using intex produces good results as long as the French dictionaries are complete. But Quebec French texts have a lot of linguistic particularities and pose specific problems. So the building of electronic dictionaries of Quebec French is essential. Such dictionaries have been in the process of construction over the last few years. intex appears to be a very efficient tool for comparing dictionaries and finding new words, or new uses of words, that must be added to these dictionaries, before they can be integrated into the intex system.
