Abstract
Linguistic manipulation is used to achieve a certain goal. The purpose of this article is to examine linguistic manipulation as a general phenomenon and its particular use in Tumblr blogs. To attain this objective, the study employs various techniques, including reviewing definitions, consulting the field of applied linguistics, analysing posts on Tumblr, and user reactions to these posts.
