Abstract
This article discusses the linguodidactic foundations of teaching a non-native language in universities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main purpose of the article is to show the theoretical and methodological apparatus that is aimed at learning and teaching a language as a second language. Lingvodidactics is an important area of research in the methodology of teaching non-native languages in pedagogical universities. The main goal of linguodidactics is the development of scientifically based teaching methods and techniques that allow students-future teachers to effectively develop communicative competence in the target language. The key principle of linguodidactics is taking into account the characteristics of students’ native language and interlingual interference when mastering a non-native language. This allows you to identify and prevent typical mistakes of students, as well as optimize the process of mastering language and speech material.
