Abstract
Lineprinter display of digital scintiscan data is becoming more common due to the wider availability of computer facilities. The basic method of presentation is in the form of a contour map, using symbols to represent areas of different count rates.This paper evaluates various types of contour display and suggests criteria for choosing the optimum type for a given scanning situation.
