Abstract
We present here the cases of a 31-year-old male and a 68-year-old female, both presented with extensive erythema, a positive Nikolsky’s sign and major pain. Line-field Confocal Optical Coherence Tomography (LC-OCT) LC-OCT is a fast imaging tool able to visualize the cleavage level and epidermal necrosis to distinguish staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome from toxic epidermal necrolysis.
