Abstract
The ability to provide high data rate is a key measure in modern communications system. MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) has emerged as an technique that increases the data rates in 3G systems. In this paper, MIMO signal design based on adaptive modulation and the precoding technology is studied.A scheme for adaptive modulation based on eigenvalues is developed and a precoding matrix will be used at the transmitter according to singular value decomposition. We present a second-time allocation algorithm, rather than traditional waterfilling power allocation. This algorithm together with substream selection, precoding technology and adaptive modulation is the proposed signal design of Horizontal Bell Lab Layed Space and Time (H-BLAST)in MIMOsystem. The scheme is to make the best of constrained power resources based on given QoS.
