Abstract
Bis zu drei CO-Liganden von [Cr(CO)6] können über Alkinyl(alkoxy)carbenchromkomplexe linear in Butenolide eingebaut werden. Der Schlüsselschritt ist die biomimetische Reduktion der Carbengruppe mit N-Methyldihydropyridin [Gl. (1)], die die stufenweise Insertion der Alkinfunktion und zweier CO-Gruppen auslöst.
