Abstract

By using Monte Carlo simulations, we study a three-dimensional Ising crystal in which the two-dimensional fully frustrated XY planes are ferromagnetically stacked in the Z direction. Our investigation is made on physical properties such as the spin-glass order parameter, sublattice magnetizations, specific heat, susceptibility, and correlation functions. At low temperatures, linear-chain-like excitations exist, and one sublattice in four is in correlated disorder. The peak of the specific heat is found at the temperature 2.8J/${k}_{B}$, J and ${k}_{B}$ denoting, respectively, the coupling constant between spins and the Boltzmann constant.
