Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this application was to create a supplement to an undergraduate course in linear algebra. This application was drawn from the field physics and shows how linear algebra is used to solve systems of second order linear differential equations, which could be used to model small vibrations in molecules. This applications was designed so that an instructor of linear algebra could use it either as an independent study project or as an integrated part of the course.
