Abstract
Unerupted teeth are a somewhat uncommonly encountered problem in veterinary practice. When determining whether and how to treat the unerupted tooth, imaging is critical, and the practitioner must be familiar with both orthodontic and surgical principles. Complications can occur intraoperatively, postoperatively, or during orthodontic treatment.
