Line strengths and pressure broadening by hydrogen in the spectrum of germane near 2110 cm -1

Abstract

Line strengths and pressure-broadening coefficients of the v 3 band R 0 and R 1 transitions of GeH 4 are deduced from several high-resolution spectra of samples containing about 1-torr partial pressure of GeH 4. The experimental data are fitted over a 1.8-cm -1-wide spectral region with several Voigt-profile lines positioned according to the experimental wavelength calibration.
