Abstract

The curvature of the 180° cross-tie wall observed between adjacent crossed Bloch lines is attributed to the ripple model of the coercive field and depends in a defined manner on a magnetic field parallel and vertical to the cross-tie wall. Under the condition that domain walls move in single Barkhausen jumps and considering the stray field of a moving circular Bloch line, the above dependence leads to the motion of the 180° cross-tie wall below the static wall motion threshold, i.e. to wall creeping.
