Two new oleanane-type triterpene saponins, named linderniosides A and B, were isolated from the whole plants of Lindernia pyxidaria, together with a known triterpene glycoside, medicagenic acid 3- O-glucuronide. The structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence.
