Abstract

Linde plants to build a proton-exchange membrane electrolyzer in Niagara Falls, New York, to make hydrogen from water. The unit will run on 35 MW of hydroelectric power. The company says the plant, slated to start up in 2025, will more than double its liquid green hydrogen capacity in the US and will be the first of several electrolyzers that it will build to meet increasing demand.
