Abstract
Recent data on the π- / π + ratio for photoproduction in the first resonance region are analyzed using a model developed previously. Within the model, the data set an upper limit of about 3 percent on the ratio of isotensor to isovector resonance excitation, assuming T invariance. The pi radiative-capture data are investigated again within the model, to assess the evidence for this latter assumption.
