Abstract
Purpose/Objective: The Kaiser Neonatal Early-Onset Sepsis Calculator (KNESC) is a screening tool for early-onset sepsis in newborns with gestational age ≥ 35 weeks. Substantial research supports KNESC as an effective screening tool and as a tool to limit newborn antibiotic exposure.
