Abstract
1. The previously deduced equations [1] have been verified quantitatively for the catalytic system quinine-hydrochloric acid. 2. The experimental results show that the rate constant for the formation of hydrogen molecules from quinine — hydrogen atom complexes is about 106 times as great as the rate constant for the interaction of quinine and hydroxonium ions.
