Abstract

The article discusses the problem of limiting the operation of commercial establishments on selected Sundays. These restrictions are imposed by top-down administrative regulations. The aim of the study was to try to identify opinions and assess consumers on a new legal regulation concerning the restriction and prohibition of trading on Sundays. The work involved the use of a diagnostic survey method in the field of which survey research was used, in which 120 respondents took part. Due to the divisiveness of the sentences of the discussed problem, it is difficult to clearly answer the question about the acceptance of the new legal regulation by consumers. Nevertheless, the presented research results showed that there are no good prospects for the future exclusion of additional commercial Sunday, as respondents mostly responded that trade should not be forbidden on Sundays.
