Abstract

In our previous studies, we confirmed that the breakdown voltage did not decrease significantly even if nitrogen (N 2 ) fine bubbles were added to pure water. In addition, we confirmed that the conductivity of pure water increased when we used a metallic fine bubble generator. In this study, we investigated an influence of N 2 ultrafine bubbles on conductivity and breakdown voltage by using ceramic pore type generator. As a result, it was confirmed that addition of N 2 ultrafine bubbles to pure water may suppress the increase in conductivity. In addition, it was also confirmed that pure water with N 2 ultrafine bubbles tends to exhibit the 50% breakdown voltage equal to or slightly higher than pure water without N 2 ultrafine bubbles.
