Abstract

A 32-year-old woman presented a 5-year history of gait disturbance and recent-onset psychiatric problems. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the department of psychiatry and she was consulted for unstable gait and falling tendency. At age 17, her gait had become unstable, but she walked without any assistance. However her gait disturbance gradually became worse and she could only stand up by herself and walk with the help of her family.
