Abstract
Abstract N-Methyltetraphenylporphinatozinc ethyl reacts with carbon dioxide in the presence of secondary amine or alcohol to form novel metalloporphyrins containing metal carbamate or carbonate group. Some of these reactions are accelerated remarkably upon irradiation with visible light.
