Abstract

A virtual-moving metalens array (VMMA) enabling light-field imaging with enhanced resolution has been proposed and developed by Sang-Shin Lee and co-workers (see article number 2000820). The VMMA is based on a multifunctional dielectric metasurface, playing the role of imposing polarization-sensitive phase profiles for orthogonal linear polarizations. The periodic sampling position of the VMMA can be switched depending on the incident polarization.
