Abstract

We calculate the nucleon electromagnetic properties in a previously given light-cone wave-function model. It is shown that the relativistic valence-quark configuration, only if augmented by pionic contributions, provides a satisfactory description of the existing data on the anomalous magnetic moments and root-mean-square radius of the nucleon.
