Titration calorimetry has been used to determine heats of protonation (ΔH HM ) of the metal in (H) 2 Os(PR 3 ) 4 (PR 3 =PPhMe 2 , PPh 2 Me, PPh(OEt) 2 , P(OEt) 3 ), (H) 4 Os(PR 3 ) 3 (PR 3 =PPhMe 2 , PPh 2 Me), HIr(CO)(PPh 3 ) 3 , and CpIr(ER 3 )(H) 2 (ER 3 =PPh 3 , AsPh 3 , P(OPh) 3 ) complexes with CF 3 SO 3 H in 1,2-dichloroethane solvent at 25.0 o C
