Abstract

Using a laser induced fluorescence (LIF) method a detailed analysis of the shapes of 114Cd 326.1 nm line perturbed by Xe was performed which revealed departures from the ordinary Voigt profile. It is shown that these departures are consistent with fits of speed-dependent asymmetric Voigt profiles to experimental profiles.
