Abstract
The mean lives have been determined with the Dopplershift attenuation method (DSAM) for levels in 30P populated by the gamma decay of the Ep = 1 470 keV, 1 505 keV, 1 686 keV, 1 746 keV and 1 749 keV resonances in the reaction 29Si(p,γ)30P. The measured mean lives are given for seven excited states. Upper or lower limits of the mean lives are obtained for some other states.
