Abstract
Lifetime measurements using beam foil techniques for the levels in Sn ii are presented. The resulting oscillator strengths for transitions at 1699.4, 1831.8 and 1811.2 Å are reported. We also studied these levels with multi-configuration Dirac Hartree–Fock calculations using a development version of the GRASP2K package. Our experimental and theoretical results are compared with other available studies.
