Abstract
To ensure the operating reliability and safety, loadsharing technique has been widely applied in many industrial systems. Therefore, how to estimate accurately the lifetime of loadsharing system is an interesting and significant issue in the prognostics and health management (PHM). In this paper, a general degradation modeling method of load-sharing system was proposed based on Wiener process. By fully taking into account the influence of failed components on degradation rate and uncertainty of the remaining surviving components, the probability density function (PDF) of lifetime was derived under the concept of the first passage time (FPT). Additionally, the maximum likelihood estimation method and least square estimation were employed to identify the model unknown parameters. Finally, a numerical case was provided for illustration.
