Abstract
I will here pick up on asuggestionmade by Greve (2023) in this journal, namely that a proper understanding of lifespandevelopment means defending a non-reductionist psychology taking biological processes seriously, but without reducing psychology to physiology. I will here suggestand argue for the use of niche construction theory as a way of providing a psychological theoretical perspective on lifespandevelopment broad enough to contain both naturalistic and normativeelements in a non-reductionist manner.
