Abstract

Problems of the character training of youth have never been so crucial as now. Romantic outbursts, critical appraisal of existing ways of life, active striving for the future, and a yearning to be in the front ranks of those who affirm what is new and progressive have always characterized the upcoming generation. But this should not obscure the most basic factor: the problem of youth has always been a social problem, and such it is even now, perhaps to an even greater degree.
